Waxing and Shaving Monster High Doll?!
Move over Barbie Mattel has a new doll in town that’s sparking outrage - the Monster High dolls. Apparently one of the dolls are called the Monster High Clawdeen Wolf Doll and it can be waxed, shaved AND plucked! Mattel claims that this is to teach young girls about the proper grooming women have to go through. It’s really teaching girls to be ashamed of their bodies and to find ways to be sexually attractive. I don’t know about you but at 6 years old do little girls really need to be caring about waxing and shaving?! “My hair is worthy of a shampoo commercial, and that’s just what grows on my legs. Plucking and shaving is definitely a full-time job but that’s a small price to pay for being scarily fabulous,” reads the character description and also lists her favorite hobby as “flirting with boys.” This is why kids are the way they are these days, they’re growing up too fast and society is always finding a way to contribute. It’s already bad enough we had Barbie (which was made to portray a prostitute) with her huge breast & slim waist living together with Ken in a house and then they were having babies, now waxing AND shaving?! Sheesh. The doll in my opinion looks real whorish with the short skirt, thigh high boots and way too much make-up. . It’s teaching them at an early age that in order to be beautiful you need to wax and shave. At 6 years old the last thing that should be on their minds is waxing and shaving but we all know these people will create any toy to catch these little girl’s attention because they’ll convince mommy and daddy to buy it for them. This is what today’s kids are watching on television and playing with and this is exactly why kids are having kids now of days. Way to go Mattel with another hit toy!
