Wondering Why Ever Since Ester Dean “Dropped It Low” She Never Came Back Up?
I was cruising down the road listening to the radio and then Nicki Minaj’s new song “Super Bass” came on. I thought to myself oh lord let’s see how this one goes and I couldn’t help but to here who was singing background vocals - Ester Dean. Then I thought to myself whatever happened to her. She started off singing background songs on a couple Chris Brown joints that I can remember, she did Hot Tottie and now Super Bass. In between all of that she only came with ONE song “Drop It Low”. Maybe singing background pays more than being in the spotlight like how some artists would rather produce music than sing for the same reason of it being more money. I mean I don’t know but I do wonder why someone with so much talent isn’t the lead rather than singing “back up”. At least she’s NOT like Lil Mama, after her poppin’ lip gloss she fell off and started being a judge on ABDC (America’s Best Dance Crew) or one of those shows, so I guess Ester isn’t doing too bad after all.
