Mariah & Nick Twin Baby Names Are Revealed!
Congrats to Mariah and Nick Cannon on the birth of their twins…she’s no longer as huge as a house. What made that day even more special was the fact Mariah gave birth on their 3rd Wedding Anniversary - April 30th (how cool is that!) Nick Cannon said his wife gave him the best anniversary gift ever and he doesn’t know how he’ll be ever to top that. The girl (born first weighing 5 lbs 3 oz. and 18 inches long) was named Monroe in honor of Marilyn Monroe who has inspired Mariah for years. The boy (which came shortly after weighing 5 lbs 6 oz. and 19 inches long) was named Moroccan (Roc for short) Scott because Nick proposed to her on the top floor of her NYC apartment which is decorated in Moroccan style. Moroccan has the middle name Scott which is Nick’s middle name and was his grandmother’s maiden name. Monroe doesn’t have a middle name because Mariah doesn’t have a middle name. I commend Mariah for the deep profound meanings of her children’s name but to me it seems like it would’ve been fair to give Moroccan a “N” name rather than both kids taking her first initial but I guess Nick could care less as long as he still has his beautiful wife and his beautiful twins Mariah can have whatever she likes. Congrats again to them both!
